Ashley Jensen is our Director of Nursing over the Pocatello area! She was born in Boise and married a guy from Blackfoot. Somehow her husband won the battle on where they would live, so they are here in Blackfoot. She misses Boise but loves Blackfoot too!

Ashley has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Louis and Clark University, but later on in life she decided to pursue a career in nursing. She got a bachelor’s degree in nursing in under a year going through a rigorous schooling process through ISU. She worked as a float nurse for St. Luke’s three hospitals in the Boise area, gaining a variety of experience as a resource nurse, working in the ER, and infusion center. She started with Alliance three years ago as a home health and hospice nurse, and then promoted to Director of Nursing in May of 2021.

Ashley has 2 boys and stays busy in her personal time ranching with her husband and his family. They do a lot with horses, including team roping. Ashley loves to do anything outdoors! Her favorite things are fishing, camping, mountain biking, and leatherwork. Her children keep her busy with sports too.

Jonah was born and raised in Pocatello, Idaho and had the opportunity to live in Montana, Utah, and then back to Idaho while participating in athletics during his undergraduate journey.  Jonah graduated cum laude from Idaho State University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences.  He then had the opportunity to travel to Austin, Texas where he attended and graduated cum laude from The University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences and earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree.

Jonah has received training and experience in various settings including skilled nursing facilities, outpatient orthopedics, spine clinics, and home health. He aspires to be a lifelong learner, and is always striving to gain more knowledge to expand his capabilities to provide exceptional care.  Along the way, Jonah sought after the opportunities to become LSVT BIG (Gold Standard physical treatment for Parkinson’s disease) and Otago (geriatric home balance improvement program) certified.

Jonah has a love for the home health setting which allows him to have one-on-one direct patient care to help individuals and families function well within their own home and improve quality of life.  When Jonah is not caring for his patients, he can be found spending time with his wife and playing with his two daughters.  In addition to spending time with family and friends, he also enjoys weight lifting, snowboarding, football/basketball, and finding other ways to promote his own personal well-being.
