Dr. Spaulding is one of our physicians in the Idaho Falls area. She graduated from Pikeville College School of Osteopathic Medicine in 2008, and attended her Residency in Casper, Wyoming. She grew up watching “Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman” who was her hero! Dr. Spaulding wanted to fix people and help them feel better about themselves because of that show. Being a main provider at Upper Valley Family Medicine in Rigby, it has allowed her to take care of pre-natal patients, deliver babies, and take care of elderly patients as well. Dr. Spaulding loves to take care of individuals of all ages and backgrounds, interacting with the entire family.

Dr. Spaulding chose to come on as a Hospice IDG Physician with Alliance because she didn’t want to let go of her patients and turn their care over to a hospice company she didn’t know personally. Having become acquainted with our very own Trisha Martin, whom Dr. Spaulding described as “an amazing nurse and administrator” for Alliance, she knew it would be important to come on as a medical director and see her patient’s care to the very end.

When Dr. Spaulding isn’t working, you will find her doing anything outdoors in the fresh air. She loves to paddleboard rivers, ride horses, hike, and cross-country ski! Her most recent hobby is learning how to be a rancher. Dr. Spaulding says, “Watch out Yellowstone cast, I’m coming for your job!”
